The popular summer concert series at Bellevue State Park came to a stellar climax with an eclectic program by the First State Symphonic Band. Of particular note was its performance of a medley of Claude-Michel Schönberg - Alain Boublil music from Miss Saigon which was the equal of anything in a similar genre by Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops. The community would benefit greatly if First State Symphonic Band could see its way clear to provide a more extensive calendar of concerts throughout the year.
